🤔 Why not a mega-school

Big schools teach a crowd. We teach your child

In giant online schools your child is one of hundreds on a webinar, with questions handled by a 'curator'. Here a live teacher runs the lesson and knows every child by name.

We are not a conveyor belt. Futurumum is a boutique school of Russian language and literature where philologist teachers work with mini-groups of up to 5 kids and see every child's every mistake.

That's why we have no 'curators' answering instead of the teacher, and no recorded webinars. There is a live lesson where the teacher pauses when something is unclear — and a report to parents after every class.

❓ FAQ

Honest answers

Will we make it in time for OGE/EGE if we start in September?

A September start is the best time: 9 months of steady preparation lie ahead. It's a calm pace with time to spare for the essay and hard tasks — instead of January panic and cramming.

How are lessons held?

Online, live with a philologist teacher, in a mini-group of up to 5 kids. It's not a webinar recording: the teacher sees every child, asks questions and slows down where something is unclear.

Is the first lesson really free?

Yes. The first lesson is a diagnostic: we meet, check the level and build a gap map. You pay nothing and owe nothing.

Can we join after the school year has started?

Yes. We'll run a diagnostic at any moment, match a group by level and help catch up — the teacher will give the first lessons to closing the tails.

We don't live in Russia. Will it work for us?

Yes, we teach kids from Russian-speaking families all over the world: we match a group by language level and pick times that fit your time zone.

How do we pay? Any instalments?

Mir, Visa, Mastercard cards and SBP. The year program can be paid in instalments over up to 6 months. Before September 1 the whole school year is 20% off.

What if my child misses a lesson?

Let us know in advance — we'll sort it out: we'll share the lesson materials and homework, and the teacher will briefly review what was missed in the next class.

How are you better than big online schools?

There your child is one of hundreds on a webinar, handled by a 'curator' rather than a teacher. Here groups are up to 5 kids, with live dialogue and a report to parents after every lesson.
